This is a boat for real sailors: the Standfast 40S “Nostos,” designed by Frans Maas and built in 1978. A classic performance cruiser that perfectly combines power, elegance and seaworthiness. The hull received new antifouling in early 2024 and the Nanni 40 HP engine was serviced as recently as November 2024.
At 12.20 meters long, 4 meters wide and 2.20 meters draft, this Standfast offers both speed and stability. The deck is equipped for serious sailors with furling genoa, traveller, backstay tensioner, multiple winches and two spinnaker booms. Yet there is no lack of comfort: sprayhood, bimini, cockpit cushions and a teak table make staying on deck pleasant.
The extensive sail range – mainsail, four genoa, storm jib, cutter jib, spinnaker and gennaker – gives flexibility for any weather. Inside you’ll find a warm mahogany interior with 2 cabins and 9 berths, complete with galley, refrigerator, freezer and hot water.
